NRC: A Frightening Preparation and Our Neglect



In the current situation of India, the greatest threat surrounding the Muslim community is the NRC—a scheme designed not merely as an administrative process but as a political and social project aimed at rendering Muslims powerless, stateless, and subjugated.

Detention Centers: Harbingers of the Coming Storm

The Ministry of Home Affairs has instructed all states to construct detention centers. These are not just buildings of brick and stone but symbols of a terrifying future. The question is: for whom are these empty prisons being prepared?

The Assam Scenario

The case of Assam is still fresh, where after NRC, millions of Muslims were declared stateless and pushed into camps.

The greatest tragedy of Indian democracy is that despite Muslims forming 18–20% of the population, their strong and effective voice is absent in the corridors of power. Major parties treat them merely as a vote bank.

3. Unity and Solidarity: This is not the time for sectarian or group divisions but to stand united as one community.  

4. Guidance of Scholars and Intellectuals: Mosques and madrasas must become centers of awareness.

Final Word

The empty detention centers being built today may tomorrow become prisons and torture chambers for Muslims. Time is short, and the conspiracy is vast. If we fail at this moment, history will stamp our foreheads with negligence, apathy, and cowardice.
